This song came out of an A-Ha moment on a late Spring afternoon.
I suddenly realized that everything I needed was right there in front of me. The people, the passion, the poetry, the philosophies; the Plato and the Plate of Meat.
I had only to follow the spirit of it all to find where it was hiding.
And I made a plan that whenever I saw glimpses of it, I would shine a bright light on it.
And at that moment, the light became warm and radiant as the Sun
And I bathed in it and praised it for letting me into it.
The song came together in three independent but intertwined sections.
The first embodies the recognition of the light,
The second is the admiration,
And the third is the participation with it.
The "kid" of the song acts as the personification of the spirit of creation.
The people around me inspire the child within me and guide me into purer visions.
